SON PROVIDES POSITIVE UPDATE ON FRACTURED ARM

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has revealed that he's doing very, very well. The South Korea international fractured his arm in February. He has been out of action since then. Son was the team's leading striker before the unfortunate injury. Spurs had earlier lost Harry Kane to a long-term injury. The loss of Kane had affected the performance of the Lilywhites.

Spurs have struggled for the most part of the season. They sacked long term manager Mauricio Pochettino in October and quickly moved to replace him with Jose Mourinho. But the fortune of the club has failed to improve. Injuries to first team players have not helped their course. Tanguy Ndombele, Kane, Son and other first team players have suffered from one fitness issue or the other. But the news that Son is doing very well will come as a blast for Spurs fans. Though the South Korean insisted that football is not important right now due to the Covid19 pandemic.

Son, 27, has once again been an important player for the Lilywhites this season. He has appeared 32 times in all competitions before getting injured. During this time, he found the net 16 times and provided a further nine assists.
But unfortunately, he suffered a fractured arm during his side's dramatic win over Aston Villa in February. Son actually picked up the injury in the first minute of the match. He played on and scored twice, including a 94th-minute match winner.

Spurs confirmed after the match that Son would be out for a couple of weeks. While Mourinho stated that he didn't expect the South Korea international to return before the end of the 2019/20 season. Mourinho stated that the injury to Son was like taking away the ladder that the club has constructed to climb the league table. Spurs are 8th in the Premier League table. They have taken 41 points from 29 matches so far.
