With Eriksen finally getting the transfer he has wanted all season, Steve Bergwijn is said to be joining Tottenham any time soon and many believe it might even be for the best since the Dane has lost all desire to actually keep on putting his best in for Spurs.
It is however suspected Bergwijn might fight for Son’s position instead of actually replacing the departed Viking. The South Korea international has been a mainstay at the club since moving from Swansea city but just like how Christian Eriksen decided he’s had enough and would like to try his luck somewhere else in hopes of playing in a team that can actually compete for a title.
Any attempt by Mourinho to suggest to the South Korean that his time at the North London club is up will certainly be met with some friction given that the Oriental man has been one of the very few players to consistently give his all for the team unlike people like Dele Alli who take their foot off the gas whenever the team is in trouble and even presumably needs them more than ever before.
Everyone at Spurs will sure be hoping the south Korea international stays with the club as they cannot afford to lose another important member of the big four: Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Son.
With the club struggling to find a way to make the best of this current season, which started terribly under Mauricio Pochettino despite ending the previous season on a high to the pique performance recorded for a short time under Mourinho and the current drab on the field that have seen them struggle as much as the other clubs gunning for the top four finish without actually taking advantage of any of their slip ups since they are so busy slipping up themselves.
