SON: POOR SCORING FORM CONTINUES

South Korea national team star Heung-Min Son has struggled for form in Tottenham Hotspur colours this season. The South Korea international has now scored in one game from eleven games in all competitions this season after his goal drought continued during the Champions League Group D clash at the home of Europa League holders Eintracht Frankfurt this week.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte dropped Son from his starting XI for the visit of Leicester City in the league just before the September international break after failing to score inthe first eight games this season. He responded to starting the home game with the Foxes on the bench with three goals when he came on for new signing Richarlison. His three goals ensured that Spurs thumped Leicester City 6-2. The game was deadlocked at 2-2 at the end of the first half before hosts Tottenham Hotspur scored four times in the second half. Continue reading SON: POOR SCORING FORM CONTINUES

SON EYEING FIRST LEAGUE GOAL

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-Min is yet to get off the mark in the Premier League this season as he attempts to retain his Golden Boot award from last season. The South Korea national team skipper would be hoping to change things when his team do battle with hosts Chelsea in a London Derby league clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.

South Korea international Son won the Golden Boot award in the Premier League last season with 23 goals alongside Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah. Salah led the Golden Boot race by one goal ahead of the final day of last season and the Egyptian was forced to share the award with the South Korea international after he scored twice in the 5-0 away win over Norwich City. Salah came off the bench to score in the 3-1 comeback home victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers. Continue reading SON EYEING FIRST LEAGUE GOAL

FAN CYCLES FROM KOREA TO ANFIELD BUT MISSES TARGET

Jungyu Lee is reportedly a South Korean fan that cycled from his country to Anfield for 235 days, covering 10,000 miles on his bike.

The football fan cycled that far but failed to hit his target of seeing the Reds in action as he missed the ticket. The dedicated fan is pictured in many blogs as a super fan that went all the way for the club.

FAN CYCLES FROM KOREA TO ANFIELD BUT MISSES TARGET

The football fan cycled that far but failed to hit his target of seeing the Reds in action as he missed the ticket. The dedicated fan is pictured in many blogs as a super fan that went all the way for the club.

Lee took plenty photos on his rare move, using a white board in each to show the miles he has covered. Despite his impressive effort he failed to get a football ticker to see Liverpool FC play, so he ended up watching the game from a pub close by.

The hype around on the media when people got to know of his staggering effort earned his notice from his favourite football club. Liverpool handed Lee a ticket to watch the Liverpool vs Tottenham match at Anfield and gave him a tour of the stadium.

Lee shared pictures that revealed he journeyed through China, Russia and Holland. He sets up a camp some nights in a bush, with his bike close by, during his adventurous trip.

“It was 235 days, I am a really big fan of Anfield and Jurgen Klopp – he’s a top guy. I spent around 5,000 dollars, it was really exciting and I was really nervous as I had finished my journey and no more cycling,” Lee told BBC Radio 5 Live.

Lee would likely take a flight back as it remains unknown if he would be able to cycle his way back to South Korea.
